First Blog...

I'm not really sure what to say here but here goes what is on my heart and mind....

Tomorrow I begin my "work" at the Dream Center. I cant's stop thinking about Nehemiah 4:

15 When our enemies heard that it was known to us, and that God had frustrated their plan, then all of us returned to the wall, each one to his work.

16 From that day on, half of my servants carried on the work while half of them held the spears, the shields, the bows and the breastplates; and the captains were behind the whole house of Judah.

17 Those who were rebuilding the wall and those who carried burdens took their load with one hand doing the work and the other holding a weapon.

I think this is such a powerful passage! This is what strikes my heart. I keep thinking that for the past few weeks and months and weeks all I've been doing is talking....and the enemy has been listening.

When our enemy heard....

God had frustrated their plan....

I love thinking about the devil's plan being frustrated, haha! On the flip side of that is knowing that he will take that frustration out on us....me. I don't want to be 'puffed up' as it says in Habakkuk 2...but I do want to be aware that the enemy is out there wanting to do whatever he can to stop anything good from happening.

Many people have asked how they can pray for me during this time. Here is is:

Those who were rebuilding the wall and those who carried burdens took their load with one hand doing the work and the other holding a weapon.

Please pray that I will take my load....with one hand doing the work....and the other holding a weapon.

For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. 2 Corinthians 10:3-5

Love you all!
